時裝在生產過程中每一道程序幾乎都會用上大量有毒化學物，絕大部份會排放到水源之中。全中國已有1/3的河流和1/4沿岸海域遭到嚴重污染。潔淨的水已成為地球主要的資源危機之一。

Greenpeace is campaigning to stop the clothing industry poisoning waterways with toxic, hormone-disrupting and cancer-causing chemicals. These chemicals are a threat to the environment and people’s livelihoods and health.
The textile industry uses a number of different chemicals, from fabric dyes and chemicals to print and finish clothing. Many of these end up in waterways around the world. With as much as 70% of China’s rivers, lakes and reservoirs affected by water pollution, clean water is the world’s most threatened resource.
We’re challenging some of the world’s top fashion brands to work with their suppliers to eliminate the release of toxic chemicals into our water. Find out if any of the brands you like tested positive for hazardous chemicals in their clothes, and strip them from your facebook profile.
